Request for funding to start a Smartcash California Chapter and spread awareness in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Sacramento, Los Angeles and San Diego.
Our goal is to encourage mass adoption of blockchain technology, bring awareness to the market and help people understand the many use cases.
Request for 50,000 SMART to help start the chapter and to fund activities throughout California for 2018.
The California Chapter will host Smartcash activities and events in California to bring awareness to the technology. These activities include but are not limited to Information tables, Community BBQ’s, Community Happy Hours and Public Meetups.
One event per University per year
Develop a Smartcash marketing brochures to distribute to the public.
Create a email list for mass marketing.
Provide food for the Smartcash Community and the general public
The purpose of the meet up is to offer a incentive for coffee shops to accept Smartcash. We would help bring people into the coffee shop. We might possible offer coffee shop owners SMARTS as a donation to help bring awareness and offer support.
Design and sell Smartcash chapter merchandise to help fund event and activities for the future.

Hi! Why did you set the limit "One event per University per year"? Does it mean the last meet up will be in 3 years time? Why didn't you mentioned 4 Universities while the proposal doesn't cover all of them? Also, more detailed budget allocation explanation on forum would make it easier for you to succeed.

Thank you! There are 3 members working on this project. In addition, we are also coordinating with the Smartcash Community Task Force and receiving input from them.
What kind of events do you have in mind exactly? I assume you are talking about presentations about SmartCash? How will you go about promoting them? How many people are you looking to attract to these events? How did you come up with the cost of $1250 per event? 750$ for a bbq event seems a quite expensive to me... How many people are you expecting to have at those bbqs? You need to provide a more detailed breakdown of your goals, methods, and budget. Your proposal is very scant on details...

For 3 peoples project I can only say yes for setting up Smartcash Information Events at standford and technology expos. with more detailed expenses.. such as your time and equipment.
